Welcome

You might be here because you’re currently taking your first steps towards therapy, or you may be revisiting therapy again at this stage in your life. You might be feeling anxious, stuck, depressed, angry, overwhelmed, unfulfilled, or lost. Whatever your experience may be, I’m glad you’re here.

To be human is to continuously navigate and juggle all the different parts of our inner and external worlds, and in the process we sometimes lose sense of what we need and who we are. My intention is to support you in making sense of your experience and develop curiosity about yourself and how you relate to others and the world. I feel that all people have the potential for growth and change and that this begins by better understanding and accepting ourselves as we are. I also hold that this can be difficult, and that there may be pain, loss, and shame to work through before this feels possible. My aim is to offer you that warm and empathetic space, where you can feel safe to explore your feelings and experiences without judgement or expectation, and where we can curiously and compassionately explore together what you need.

I appreciate that trying to find a counsellor can feel daunting. As a relational integrative counsellor, I believe in the importance of relationships and their ability to ground us or destabilise us, so I honour wholeheartedly the significance of finding a counsellor based on what feels right for you. If you feel that working together might be a helpful way forward, please do get in touch. You can read more about how I work, my availability and fees, and how I can be contacted below.

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”

- Carl R. Rogers
